Eight Foods Good to Women

Health care is a popular topic among women and there are many dietary suggestions for them. But what food is on earth good to women? Here we give a list of healthy foods.

1. Good for the brain: spinach.
Spinach is called "de- oxidation food" because of its carotene and superoxide dismutase which stop the pathological changes of blood vessels of brain. Except for the spinach, plenty of foods have the same function, such as chives, fat beans, tomatoes, carrots, beans, nuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds, steamed brown rice and pork liver soup.

2. Good for the eyes: sweet potato.
Vitamin A is called "guardian of eyes". If the human body lacks it, the eyes become less sensitive to the light. And it is likely to get nyctalopia, uncomfortable in a dark environment. Vitamin A is turned from carotene which is rich in carrots. But sweet potatoes also contain much carotene, and thus can provide rich vitamin A which is good for the eyes and skin.

3. Good for the hair: kelp.
When people mention of the foods good for the hair, they can name a lot. For example, black sesames and nuts make the hair black and shiny and gingers help the hair grow. But do you know what food is the best for the hair? That is the kelp. According to experts, long- term eating of kelps can supply the body with iodine, and effectively turns the hair black and shiny.

4. Good for the lung: tomato.
According to the newest research taken in Britain, eating tomatoes three times a week can prevent the respiratory system disease and protect the lung from the infection of bacteria. The less sweet tomatoes contain more lycopene.

5. Good for the legs: banana.
Rich in potassium, bananas are good for the legs which can prevent muscle cramp. Celery is also good for the legs as it contains plenty of colloid calcium carbonate, preventing the edema of legs.

6. Good for the heart: abyssal fish.
German experts said: if people stick to eat 50 grams fish, especially the abyssal fish per day, he can reduce the 40% chance of getting heart diseases. Unsaturated fatty acid contained in fish reduces the blood pressure, restrain the cardiac excitability and slow down the heart rate.

7. Good for the nails: egg.
Healthy nails take on pink color as they have enough supply of blood. If the color of nails change, it means they lack nutrition, especially the proteins. And eggs are the rich source of proteins.

8. Good for the skin: broccoli.
Broccoli tastes delicious, known as "solider against cancers". It can repair the skin and keep it smooth and elastic as it contains much vitamin A, vitamin C, and carotene.
